Will my car be safe at Bristol Long Stay Car Park?

All on-site car parks at Bristol International airport have been awarded the Park Mark award for safer parking. The long stay car park is barrier controlled, fenced, well lit and is staffed 24 hours a day. CCTV and Automatic Number Plate Recognition are in operation.
This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.
Parking is at owner's own risk. Insurance is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the car park. BIA does not provide insurance for cars parked within the long stay car park.

What do I do upon arrival?
We operate an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system so it is essential you have entered the correct vehicle registration when making your booking.

Upon arrival at the car park entry barrier, the ANPR system will read the vehicle registration plate and automatically issue you with a ticket. Remove the ticket and the barrier will rise allowing you to enter.

We recommend that you bring a copy of your confirmation with you.

hould the system fail to recognise your vehicle and not automatically issue you a ticket, please take a ticket from the entry machine. On your return, BEFORE collecting your car please present your booking confirmation and entry ticket at the car park kiosk (manned kiosk situated adjacent the exit barriers) where your ticket will be validated for exit. The kiosk is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

What do I do on my return from holiday?
Upon arrival at the car park entry barrier, the automatic number plate recognition system will read the vehicle registration plate and automatically issue you with a ticket.

Transfers are included, take 4 minutes and run every 20 minutes

How do I get to the car park?
Bristol International airport is located on the A38, 8 miles south of Bristol. The Long Stay car park is on your right as you enter the airport, please follow the signs for Long Stay.

What if my flight is delayed and I go over my pre-booked parking period?
You can pay for any additional parking time on your return.

Rates for the car parks do vary depending on time of year so we are unable to supply an accurate cost of the extra days.

Do I need to hand my keys in?

Wider spaces for Blue Badge holders are available. Assistance buttons are located at each entry barrier and staff are available to assist. Please contact us on 0871 3344450 in advance of your arrival if you require special assistance.

Is there a maximum car size, or any height restrictions?
Long wheel based vehicles are not permitted. There is no height restriction.

Is there anything else I need to know about the car park?
Please allow plenty of time for airport check-in and security. The Long Stay car park is a self park car park. There is no requirement to hand in your keys.

Will my car be safe and secure?

All the airport car parks offered have security measures in place and many have been accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Car parks under this scheme must undergo an annual inspection and must demonstrate that the facility is monitored 24 hours a day and be extremely secure.

Is this a secure website?

Personal information is not stored on this server as your booking details are transferred to a different, secure server maintained across a Private Network and not across the internet.

You can book on the day of travel, and this will save you money on the 'turn up' price. You can cancel up to 3 days before your arrival date and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 3 days of booking there will be a nominal administration charge.

Airport Car Park Maps & Directions

This site does not publish maps and directions; however you will find full details online when you book. All our car parks are conveniently situated for access to the airport. Some are close to the terminal whilst others provide courtesy transport.

If we were to publish directions and maps on our website before you book with us, this would give the false impression that customers may arrive at the car park without prebooking and still benefit from our special prices. However, we can only give you a guaranteed space at the prebooked rate if you book in advance. For this reason we only provide maps and directions to customers who have already booked with us.

When you book airport car parking: full details instantly given!

We provide maps and directions for customers online, after you have booked. In addition, and for all other customers, we will send you all maps and instructions within 3 working days of booking with us. Late bookings are sent out as a matter of priority. If you are booking the Meet and Greet service, providing us with your fax number will enable us to fax instructions within 24 hours of booking.

Late or urgent airport parking bookings

If you have not allowed sufficient time for directions to reach you by post, you may call the operations and reservations facility between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm and ask us to give you these details verbally or by fax - call 0870 195 9633 (Quote BN391) and quote your Booking Reference. It pays to prebook!

How frequently do the car park transfer buses run?

When you book a car park where a transfer service is in operation, you will find the details of that service on your confirmation documents. Generally, however, airport parking transfers run between every five and every 20 minutes depending on the car park. We recommend you arrive between 30 and 40 minutes before your airline check-in desk opens.
